Lodge Rothes No.532
Lodge Rothes No.532, celebrated 150 years of Freemasonry with a rededication ceremony, on Saturday 11 February 2023. The ceremony of rededication was carried out by the Substitute Grand Master Brother Alexander Moncrieff, assisted by Office Bearers of Grand Lodge.
The Lodge was opened by Brother John Wilson R.W.M, Office Bearers and Brethren, thereafter a deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross headed by the Provincial Grand Master Brother Bill Rocks, followed by the deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland who were headed by Right Worshipful Substitute Grand Master Brother Alexander Moncrieff were warmly welcomed into the Lodge by the R.W.M.
Grand Lodge then commenced the rededication ceremony, which was carried out in an exemplary fashion by Brother Moncrieff assisted by the Grand Wardens (Brother Michael Kinnaird, Grand Jeweller and Brother James Jack, Junior Grand Deacon acting), Grand Director of Ceremonies (Grand Secretary Brother William Semple acting) and Grand Chaplain. Past Right Worshipful Substitute Grand Master Hugh Clelland then proceeded to rededicate, and then invest the master with his regalia of office.
At the conclusion of the ceremony the Brethren sat down to a fine meal followed by the usual toasts.
