Provincial Grand Lodge Helps Plant Field of Remembrance

Again this year Poppy Scotland has commissioned and planted a Field of Remembrance in Princes Street Gardens Edinburgh to commemorate those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country in all wars and conflicts that we have been part of since the First World War.

The Grand Lodge of Scotland has again given the magnificent donation of £6500 to Poppy Scotland and laid a cross in the Field of Remembrance on behalf of every daughter Lodge in Scotland.  Each cross was stamped with the Square and Compasses and the Lodge Number. The Scottish Lodges have also helped by purchasing crosses of their own.

A team of volunteers from our Provincial Grand Lodge has again been busy helping to plant the crosses
