Christmas Carol Service Sunday 13th December 2015

"This afternoon with kind permission of the Session of St. John and Dairsie United Parish Church in Cupar, the PGL held their Annual Carol Service.

It was led as usual by our PGM Bro. the Revd Andrew E Paterson JP. Along with some very able and willing volunteer of all ages. Big thankyou and well done to those who played their parts admirably this afternoon especially the two young ladies.

The congregation of brethren, family and friends which numbered in excess of 100 was accompanied in worship by Bro. Mark Clifford Provincial Grand Organist. Thank you for all who came along.

It was a pleasure to also welcome the PGM of Perthshire West Bro. Roger Bullard and his wife to join with the brethren of Fife and Kinross.

At the end of the Service the PGM encouraged the kids of all ages present to sing jingle bells and after a trial run Santa Claus heard them and with bells ringing he entered the Kirk with a bag of selection boxes that were distributed to the good little boys and girls and some not so good ;-) !!

Thereafter we retired to the Church Hall for tea and mince pies which were generously donated by Lodge 19 and 77 along with the local Chapter of the OES and the ladies of the Kirk. So grateful thanks to all that supported the Province in this way.
